Vienna Organ Preservation Spring School
April 9th – 11th, 2025
During this three-day Spring School program, we will focus on theory and hands-on practice of all
different aspects of abdominal organ preservation. The following topics will be covered:
Extensive hands-on experience in multi-organ retrieval, small groups per cadaver .
In-house logistics, staffing, basic science of liver and kidney perfusion, most recent developments and outcomes, hands-on training including machine set-up, liver and kidney back-table preparation and perfusion.
Spots will be limited to allow for a well-rounded learning experience and extensive hands-on
exposure.
A more detailed program will follow shortly.
